8 weeks and 7 weeks

Jaylie is 8 weeks old.
We had to take her picture one day late because we were both too tired yesterday to do it and she was a little ill.
Look at this face. I am so so thankful God gave this little face for me to love on.
Here she is at 7 weeks. That's the best I could get out of her.

Jaylie went on her first camping trip to Wind Creek. We love wind creek and we went for one night. Just one and we had a truck load full of stuff. A pen wouldn't have fit in that truck. So funny.....
Jay and I just wanted to try camping and see how it was and we really just needed to get out of the house.

Look very hard at this picture. Jaylie was bouncing in her seat on the picnic table while we cooked supper. Well, she was cooking up a special present of her own. She never made a sound but after a while I started to notice a brown spot underneath the fish. Yes, there is was. All over her and her outfit. It was the worst one she has ever had and saved it for camping. That's my girl.
It resulted in me stripping her down on the picnic table, getting in my bathing suit and carrying my covered in poop baby to the shower house where she got her first shower with me. She didn't know what to think about it and I was exhausted when it was all over.
This was coming home from Wind Creek. She sweats so much that I took off her clothes until we stopped for lunch.
We stopped to eat and I put her cupcake outfit on her. Look at the difference. It breaks my heart to see how much she has grown. I cried and cried all the way home from Wind creek about going back to work.  I continued to cry all weekend. Especially Sunday. I was very upset all day. And I just wanted to hold my baby all day. I didn't get to either:(

Blue is baby girls color I think. This was the day before she would start Gandaddy daycare.
After our first day apart..
Scruff is jealous!!

So I made it through leaving her this week. It still hurts though. I am so blessed that she is staying with family and making memories with her Gandaddy but I sure hate leaving her so early in the day. It is nice to rush down there everyday so I can see that sweet smile.!
