2 Weeks

Jaylie is 2 weeks old! And by the looks of the picture- she can't believe it;)
It feels like 2 hours. Honestly, it has gone by really fast.

Weight: We go to Dr. C tomorrow but I would guess Jaylie is about 9 lbs. She was 8 lbs 8 oz last week.

Sleeping: Right now- we have no schedule. She usually gets up 2 times a night depending on when she goes to sleep. But she is always up at 5:45 or 6. Sometimes she goes back to sleep and will sleep until 8.
Jaylie has been fussy the past few days. Today, I had done everything I knew to make her happy and she cried and cried. Thank goodness for Mom who came to help me today.

Milestones: Jaylie hasn't really  done anything yet but baby girl can throw her head around; raise it up, roll it from side to side in her crib( which she only catnaps in).
She has big hands too, like me, and keeps them by her head, face or in her mouth. Sometimes she sucks her fingers but I am trying to stop that because I know it will be hard to keep a thumb out of her mouth:)
She also is the hardest baby to dress. Trust me- we don't change outfits more than we have to because Jaylie hates it!
Bath time is sometimes traumatic- I mean you would think she would like it. It always starts off good and then it goes south somewhere around the time we pick her up to wash her back.
I may or may not have squirted her with cold water once. But that's what happens when your kiddo is screaming nonstop. You forget to get the cold water out of the sprayer.

I took this in jays truck Sunday night. There is nothing like feeling those fingers wrapped around mine. So sweet! It seems like we waited forever to have that feeling.

Jaylie went to see her BFF Katelyn in the hospital and rode in the stroller for the first time. She really liked her stroller- I mean really because she had an accident in it- a big accident:)
My sweet girl and Scruff laying the bed. There is nothing like a sleeping baby.
Jaylie, you have changed so much in 2 weeks. I still cannot believe your here.
Being a Mommy is hard work but I am so thankful God is letting me be your Mommy.
